I remember reading a post of a similar situation where op wanted to know if it was possible to utilize his g73 monitor as a display for his PS3. Unfortunately, I haven't had any luck finding that particular thread.

Does anyone know of a method to hook up my 360 to the g73 monitor?

No, the unit has no video-in ports, unless you get some sort of USB external that will add the feature.

An external video capture device with component/hdmi in would do the job.
But if you're thinking about a native way to do it, so far only alienware m17x r3 does have this feature.

When I was looking at buying a new laptop, the only one I found with HDMI in was the Alienware M17x R3.

I am not even sure if an external device exists to input a display to the monitor, I could not see how that would work.

An external capture device works fine. It works with any program that captures videos like, as an example, windows movie maker.
Most USB capture devices comes bundled with their own capture programs; since I was in the business I still use for some video editing a cheap USB components capture device and thrust me it works perfectly fine.

The hardware is more expensive (generally) than a 17inch monitor, and it usually captures video in another program and isn't really suited for your needs.

Another problem-so far as I know, any hardware like that introduces noticeable lag.

I haven't tried anything like this since an Adaptec Gamebridge that worked through USB with standard definition consoles like the PS2. It...sort of worked, but there was some lag.

For the two current gen consoles, I'd say try to hook them to an external monitor, so some sort of setup like that. Hmm...if you can get the audio converted so it'll input on your G73, you can play the audio back through the G73, and the video through the monitor. That should work fine.

Sorry for the dumb question but, why do you want to do this?
Anyway, a USB tv tuner might work as well but the picture quality might not be as good as if you just used a 1080p monitor.
