Ok, before I get flamed for not searching the forums, I have searched and read about 20 threads on various issues which has just ended up getting me more confused than ever.
The deal is, the audio on my G73 is messed up. I have no idea how it happened, but whenever I play a game -Dragon Age- for example, the sound effects/speech are missing or very faint. Its almost like I'm just hearing the background reverb effect.
So after looking at all my settings and checking to see that they looked OK - I have decided to reinstall my audio drivers.
But how? I"ve got creative, Audigy, Realtek, Realtek HDMI, ATI HDMI... !!??!
I dont know where to start and what order. Also if I'm to load any old drivers first I don't know where to find them either. All I can find are a couple drivers posted on the Asus G73 support page, and a list of 2.52 version drivers on Realtek's site.
Could someone PLEASE point me to a thread or otherwise help me find if I can fix my audio issue with a driver reinstall, or if I have to RMA?

Uninstall realtek high definition audio driver. Use driver sweep to clean up in safe mode. Install most recent realtek high definition audio driver from realtek website.
