Hi guys! i´m writing from argentina! i bought a G73jh last year and until a few days ago, it worked flawlessly. I installed Might and magic VI, but i didn´t work The computer restarted randomly.
But I was able to play hon and another games as usual.
However last week, i installed Shogun 2 and Dungeon Siege 3. Then the disaster began. Both games freeze randomly (from 1 min to 15 min into game). It first started with shogun, then expanded to dungeon, and afterwards to another games! I post a pic of my screen when it freezes. Some times a blue screen shows up. Sometimes i have sound problems too.
I have already tried the following:
    update video drivers (from ati)
    update bios (from asus)
    update realteck driver
    update windows

can it be a direct x problem? just guessing
any help will be apreciated as i can´t send it to RM!
    thx for the help
    sorry for my english!

Have you tried rolling back the video driver to the one that came with the computer? I would try that first.
You do not mention updating the VBIOS. What version are you on?
I am on, Video BIOS Version: 012.020.000.032.038352
This will allow the newer ATI drivers to work properly.
Note Ralphman, if rollback of the driver does not fix it, I would not change the VBIOS yet!
Changing VBIOS can brick the computer.

That pic looks like the GSOD. You need to update the VBios.
Go back to the Asus Gaming Forum page and read the "read before posting" thread to find solutions to common issues such as the Grey Screen of Death.

Edit: If have any problems let us know.
Edit 2: the thread you need is called "How to fix your GSOD blues."

Far too high 110oC is thermal shutdown and anything above 95-100oC is not acceptable it will lower the life of your GPU rapidly.

First clean out your fans - compressed air into the vents to shift any dust and recheck the temps under load. Otherwise you will need to consider a repaste.
