    Hi all,

I just received my order of this G73 from bestbuy. However, I couldn't find the recovery DVD and driver cds. Is that normal? I tried call bestbuy but they said they need to verify this and I have to wait them to call back. From the picture of newegg.com's G73 page, it does come with cds. So I think this one shall have those too right? Any fellow here purchased G73 from bestbuy can confirm me on this?

    Thanks a lot!

Thanks for the information. I'll burn recovery DVDs first (requires 5 blank DVDs...) just in case.

The other question I have is, I noticed from device manager that the wifi device is not intel, but ASUS download page only provides 2 intel wifi drivers. Anyone else notice this in their G73?

I believe a lot of the units shipped around the March time frame were the last to have recovery media. Having to use 6 DVDs to do a backup is absolutely ridiculous. I'd recommend a program such as Acronis where it would only require one or two discs.

good point. seagate provides diskwizard for free from its website, which is basically a renamed Acronis true image (WD has its own version as well). That shall make back up much easier.
