I have been experiencing quite a number of freeze/lock up (mine is a JW model) even after clean installation of wins7 64bits.

    There are two majors causes:
    1) first is definitely chrome related, it will firstly show that chrome isn't working/loading (whole chrome turns white and your cursor shows the loading icon). Then my other programs also would have the same effect. Then after about 10 seconds or so, the whole laptop would just stop.

    2) I usually leave my laptop on for one night with minimal programs running because I like to test the stability of the laptop. Most of the time, I would only leave my music program to run and sometimes the messenger.
I will turn off the monitor during this and it will fail to respond when I try to press fn+f7.

The reason why I am posting this thread is simply wants to know if anyone else also leave their laptop on overnight and has lockups. (and of cause a solution if anyone can suggest me some)

are you using a SSD by any chance? Since your is a JW model I have no other clue about what can cause freezes, the best way to know it for you, is it to check the event viewer and try to see what actually caused the freezes...
Mine were actually caused by ATI CCC drivers and probably by realteck audio driver, once I updated/reinstalled them I had no more freezes, beside one, which was actually caused by the SSD.
So, check the even viewer and let's us know if nothing was reported
