    So we all know that the Mobility 5870 is about the same as a desktop 5750-5770.

    My question is, what is it compared to with Nvidias desktop solutions?

    Would it be safe to say its more powerful then the 9800gtx desktop card?

    Where would you peg it on the nvidia desktop scale?

    Yeah, I know eh? I can't believe they can't get something more powerful into a tiny little space. The video card on my desktop is only slightly taller than the laptop when closed, I'm sure they could make it shorter ...

    Ok. Look at a desktop 8800gtx.

    IF the mobility 5870 is more powerful that, then its pretty amazing how much smaller the 5870 is.
