    G73 or Firefox memory leaks?

    After firefox is open for awhile (30 minutes), my system will have some random hangs, like half second in duration spaced apart by about a minute. Is it a firefox memory leak? I usually have a lot of flash video (like youtube / blip) playing. lag continues even when the web pages are closed and until firefox is totally restarted. This also almost always involves the "firefox is closed but is not responding" error when trying to restart firefox.

    Firefox has issues with memory and flash, especially with blip.

    My Firefox 4.0.1 randomly crashes sometimes, this is mainly due to the plugins you have installed. If you run Firefox without any plugins, it is generally memory leak free and crash free.

    It's firefox. I forget how you fix it, but just google the issue and you'll find some sites that go over how to edit firefox's config.
