Hey guys,
I though it might be worth to see if other members have experience with this possible workaround to the g73's GSOD multiple forum members have reported. Please only vote if you really have the Grey screen of death issue! Users jortex and Xeven have reported that overclocking their 5870 mobile from 700/1000 to 800/1100 solved their GSOD issue with all catalyst drivers drivers like the newest catalyst 10.4.. It worked on 10.4 with the normal/stock bios for them.

I don't think so. 700/1000 is more safer. You will experience more gsod in overclocked mode. -
That would be the normal logic, however, that is not what people have reported. It could be timing issues and that overclocking just a bit helps.
G73 owners with GSOD .. does overclocking to 800/1100 solve you GSOD?
