    It'll need to have at least 150(?)watts, and that one doesn't specify. It's also too expensive- just buy this.

    In case the link doesn't work, you want the "TARGUS APA-05US home/office 180w notebook ac power adapter".

    Is the tip a right angle one? Cause the straight tip on the stock brick is quite annoying.

    yep, right angle, black tip. actually all the tips are right-angles

    Be careful with right angle tips. They can break the internal jack of the notebook if you set the notebook down with the cable angled downwards.

    Are there any advantages to using the TARGUS APA-05US over the one that comes with the G73 ?

    The rocketfish adapter does not work. You plug it in and it just keeps flashing the "AC Mode" logo over and over and doesn't actually charge/run if you take the battery out. Not enough juice.

    What's the difference between using the above recommended power brick and the stock one?

    Runs a bit cooler and can feed the G73 more power than the 150w brick.
