So I have had my g73sw for about a year now and just recently the jack where the power cable plugs into has become slightly "wiggly". The cable now has to be in a certain way in order for the laptop to charge, it is not the cable it is definitely the jack.

My question is what is the best option to fix this? Is it something where I can order the part and replace it on my own or do I have to send it in?

Thanks for the help ahead of time.

EDIT: It is already getting progressively worse.

You will have to get a new jack and have it soldered in place of the old one if one of the pin is damaged. Otherwise, just resoldering the current jack should do it if nothing is damaged.
