as title says, how do I set the G73 not to scale when playing older games that only support lower resolution or 4:3 / 16:10 aspect ratio?

I just installed the latest catalyst driver package from official website. On the panel of screen property, the scaling part is default at "full screen" and it's grey, so I cannot change. Plus there are only 2 options, full screen or keep aspect ratio, there is no option to let it not to scale at all.

    Anyone have a solution?

another similar problem but it's about my desktop. My desktop monitor is samsung 2443BW 1920x1200, my GFX card is 9600GT with 2 DVI but no VGA. when I use a DVI cable to connect to the monitor, I cannot choose the scaling property from Nvidia panel, saying this type of digital connection doesn't support that. When I use a DVI-VGA adaptor and a VGA cable to connect to monitor, it cannot even set to the highest resolution... how shall I solve this? Do I have a find a GFX that comes with a VGA output? or is VGA cable cannot support full HD no matter what?

    Thanks in advance.

CCC is set up a little silly, but here's how you change the scaling:
    1) Lower the screen resolution (in Desktop Properties)
    2) In Desktops & Displays, change the scaling to "Centered"
    3) Change back to native resolution.

Not quite sure about the desktop, though.

Glad to hear it worked, and good luck with the desktop. It should be different because it's an Nvidia card, though in my experience Nvidia's control panel is easier to work with.
