    u should have made it when u got the laptop first.. a little too late now.. asus will make u pay for it... ur better off downloading windows from links on the forum and using the key under on ur laptop... the drivers , u can get from asus website..

    i have both,my own version of windows and drivers from asus site .do i still need that recovery disk??? it should trigger that recovery partition i have on C drive,in case something goes wrong,right? do i need it at all??? i've installed W7Ultimate and everything runs just fine so far...thanks

    You can install THIS and make a recovery set if you still want to. Or are you looking for the Driver & Application DVD?

    You shouldn't need the DVDs to recover from the partition. I believe it's explained how to do it in the user's manual, probably the only thing of value in that worthless manual.

    If you've already done a clean install, then there's no need to use the recovery partition. There's a guide on the asus software to help you decide what you want to install.
