Anyone have a pic of a G73 converted to slot load? I'm wondering how the bezel would look since the G73 body isn't level.

What would you do about the cover? I know with a tray loader you just pop it off and plug it in right away. How would you go about doing his with a slot loader?

Can you just pop out the cover and cut your own hole?

    That's pretty much why I'm asking :)

No point in re-inventing the wheel and all that.

I have 2 slot load drives I bought from China for $50-$55 each but have tried a couple of different slot load bezels and neither fit the models I have. So far still using the tray loading version.

I tried one from here but maybe I picked the wrong one. Replacement Bezels for Blu-ray and DVD Drives

    Cheers,

yeah I wanted to go this route, but nothing would fit the lines of the G73jh, note to mention the color/texture...
