Man are they good.. the best laptop speakers i have come across
-
-
I wish I knew for sure who makes the speakers. Someone said Altec Lansing but they usually brand the crap out of their stuff.
-
-
I've had a lot of laptops that claim to have "premium" speakers but this is the first one I've ever owned where I think the stock setup is pretty darn good.
-
you all here have no idear what good sound is
-
They are talking about notebook speakers not about sound systems worth of thousands USD...
-
As for having "no idea", I think I have a good clue, tyvm
-
Good one. Haha.
-
Maybe we'll get some Bowers & Wilkins speakers in the next G series. lol.
-
BEATS ... wait, no. nevermind. I just remembered that Beats is the audiophile equivalent to apple ... *sigh*
-
How about BOSE for ROG laptop speakers.
-
-
the sound is a bit better than "normal" but thats all! -
The laptop speakers are good for quick & dirty gaming. Headphones work better, as do powered externals. Upgraded external DAC/amp plus studio cans is audiovana
-
maybe it does but this is one of the best sound i've heard from a laptop
that's what the guys where saying -
as far as laptop speakers go, the toshiba X205 series had the BEST laptop speakers ever!
4 Harmann Kardon speakers + Subwoofer, they give truly amazing sound considering they're laptop speakers
I've also used the Asus NX90 with B&O audio, even it's speakers are pretty amazing...
But like chastity said, Dac/Amp + Studio Cans is the way to go audio nirvana.. -
The best speakers were of my previous laptop XPS M1710. Its subwoofer did work a lot better than the g73 ones. I still wish if i can add those to the g73
-
-
my last notebook was a toshiba sattelite and i got harman kardon boxes in it. sound was stunning!

Since we're on the topic of laptop audio...
Here we have the ever-happy G73JH-A1 hanging out with it's new X-Fi HD USB device. We also have a pleasant Headroom Supreme portable amp connected via the Line-Outs for comparisons, and for the HD580 headphones, off-screen. The cans on the screen are Sony's MDR-SA5000. It's 102dB Sensitivity plus 70ohm resistance works very well with the built-in amp of the X-Fi.
-
~ I didn't know that you have two g73's.
) And how come your keyboard is black? Mine is grayish.
-
I had to replace mine with a new one, plus I've grown to like it black. Nice two-tone effect.
G73 speakers
