    G73 webcam poor picture quality

    I thought this will be top quality camera but it's one of the worse I ever seen.my other cheaper laptops have better camera which offer much better video quality
    possible to fix it ?

    This is a common complaint. It is not its strongest point.

    If you have good lighting the framerate may get better. In darker environments it struggles.

    You can tweak the camera settings in the control panel and reduce the filters to get rid of some processing overhead. It might not help much but you can play around with it and see.

    what you mean by filtering? not such option in settings

    I believe AllurG means the filters within the ASUS lifeframe application.

    even my ACER 5920G performs much much better than my G73SW. webcam sucks for ASUS

    lol asus still using 2.0 megapixel cameras? They must have used it for a good 5 years now.
