    G73 with blu-ray right now?

    Hey guys, is the G73 model with a blu-ray drive available anywhere right now? I've done some searching, and if my research is correct, that would be either the G73JH-A1 or G73JH-X2. Well, those models appear to be on backorder everywhere I look. Any ideas? I'm in the United States (NYC).

    I really don't need more than 6 GB or RAM or 500GB of hard drive so I'm thinking maybe I just buy a less expensive non blu-ray model and purchase a slimline BD-ROM combo drive on my own. Swapping out the drives shouldn't be all complicated and it wouldn't void the warranty, would it?

    Both Microcenters in GA had X2s yesterday and yes, adding the drive is very simple. The best and easiest method is to find a Microcenter near you since they won't take online orders except for pickup.
