    I just was curious about anyone who has this model as I do and have this as there wireless card.I have read many posts regarding the Atheros card and others replacing it with an intel....can others confirm this in there machines?....I will be curious if others have this also....thx

    I think its because the BST7's have the WIIMAX card :-D

    That's correct the 6250 has built-in WIMAX and Wifi on the same card so no crappy Atheros in the BST7.

    What's the big issue with Atheros? They are supposed to by high end cards used by Toshiba, buffalo and a few other companies? I never had an Atheros N card, but all my B&G cards tend to perform just as well as the N cards.

    If you look around there are several threads surrounding a latency issue anecdotally attributed to the Atheros cards in general and in particular their interaction with the sound card.
