    G73-SW doesn't charge, Adapter beeps when plugged in.

    Hey guys, so recently the original charger for my 73SW broke when my dog got at it (she's ok, the charger... not so much.) and I bought a replacement from Amazon ( Amazon.com: Pwr+® Ac Adapter for Asus G53sw G53sx G73jh G73jw G73sw G73swrf G74sx Vx7 ; 150 Watt Charger: Electronics.

    The thing is though, I took it to work one day and when I got there the laptop wouldn't charge and the Adapter started beeping. A friend of mine has a laptop with the same charging port so I should be able to test it tomorrow, but I wanted to check if it could be anything else at all, maybe the battery or something inside the laptop.

    In the event that it is just the adapter, does anyone know where I can get a new one that actually works and isn't stupidly expensive like the OEM models from Asus? I've trawled through the board here before posting and from what I understand people with 73JH/73JW seem to be able to use a Targus model (I believe it's the APA05US), would I be able to do the same?
