My G73J is reporting and ACPI temperature of 102c (215.6F) which is the max reading of the sensor ($0FFF). It started doing this about a month ago so....

I brought to an authorized service center...they could not find anything wrong...

I RMA'ed it to ASUS, they reported that the device was working properly and returned it without doing anything.

I am 99.9999% certain that it used to report the temperature properly, since when it does not there are multiple side effects (fans run at max, system will not shut down due to over-temp, Windows Server Monitoring Pack complains loudly, etc)..

Before I go another round with ASUS Support, it would be great if someone could confirm (ideally with a screen shot) that this normal reports a "real" temperature. I have been using both SpeedFan and CPUId...
