G73J Freeze

Hello,

This is an issue I have found in many other threads, but none of the solutions has yet worked for me.

I'm currently on bios: 209

I used the microsoft Hotpatch as explained here But his only made it worse. (random freezing about 2times in 3 days became freezing while booting up,..


I can 'create' the crash when i run this rule in a batchscript (and choose a non-valid option)

Code:

CHOICE /C JN /M  "Pressing something differen he J or N will make my asus crash"

However I tried it on other computers, and all it suposed to do is give an system BEEP.

However this is not the only thing he crashes on, some flash-animations/games also causes my PC to crash.

Anyone now what is causing this problem and what might be a possible sollution?

If you are running the Creative Audigy MB app, go into CMSS-3D and enable it.

So what do i need to type in the search box to find a fix for my freezes in MoH/WaW ?
