i had the computer a couple of weeks now and one issue i have yet to figure out. Whenever i reboot or start up it will revert back to the original colors, that i guess Asus had set, instead of the settings i had done in the Catalyst Control Center. I have to hit the "reactivate ATI color controls" every time, however i don't have to do it for my external monitor i have attached only the laptop.

    Anyone know why?

Maybe it has something to do with Asus Splendid software that controls laptop screen colors, you can try uninstall it to see if it works.

When I uninstalled Power4Gear Hybrid, it stopped putting Asus's background and desktop colours up.
