    Hi All,

I'm planning on getting an SSD and hear these suckers are the best for the price, however, I noticed they are 6Gb/s drives (SATA III), and I'm pretty sure G73's are SATA II.

So, my queston is, is anyone using this drive? How's it performing.

Second, is it better to get a SATA II drive, or stick with SATA III for future use?

    Thanks!

The SATA3 drives will work on SATA2 systems just fine, so may as well get SATA3 for future protection

Except the Crucial drives is still a bit below the CAP of the SATA2 banwidth (rated speed anyway), so investing in SATA3 is not worth it. I suggest OCZ Vertex 2, cheaper by 20-30 dollars and you get similar performance.
