First of all, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not delete this thread. I am here without the laptop and i have a test to prepair for.

Here's the story. I got this vertex 2 SSD and after taking out both hard drives and only having single ssd, i install the 6 dvd's only to find out it won't work. Error? Says insert proper boot device. Googled? yep. Apparently, the DVD will only work with 500gb HDD. So i am out of luck.

I did try tons of times before to get clean install, but windows will say invalid cd key and microsoft won't help me.

Now could anyone grab me the link to where the G73jh owners have been downloading clean copy? Any crack or anything? I have the CD key at the bottom which i wish to use.

Again, PLEASE do not delete this thread. PLEASE. If you have to, PM me (if such thing exists) and link me to where i can find the thread where i can find solution to my question. I have lost great amount of DVDs so PLEASE don't say that google will be helpfull. Already spent 10+ dvd.

Here's a link to the ISOs: Win 7. Just don't enter in the product key during the install, but you'll most likely need to do the phone activation with your key.

I usually do my clean install with a regular copy of windows 7 that i own but I use the key on the bottom of the laptop, once windows ask me to activate, I use the automated phone activation... Will take about 10 min but doesnt hurt

    Could have yes, recommended, yes.

Install the SSD as the 2nd device or use a external enclosure and clone your install to the SSD. Its both faster and easier than a fresh install.

Software to use, try Acronis or DriveXML
