    G73JH - long beeping noise when lid is closed

    Happens when I am running on battery and I shut the lid and move the laptop around, a loud beeping noise happens, its like 90% reproducible and its annoying. When i close the lid, i have it set so where the computer does nothing (no sleep mode or hibernation). Also, when i close the lid, I am not running any application which produces sound (like playing music or anything like that). The sound is almost like a long siren

    Been happening for like 4 months, but i decided to report it here today

    Any ideas?

    Go to your mixer and turn down the mic gain or mute it altogether when not in use.
