I was just gifted the G73JH - BST7 when my friend upgraded and this is my first gaming laptop. I've been setting everything up, updating, etc. Bios and vbios are up to date and drivers as well aside from the ATK. Downloaded the latest and would like to receive procedural guidance.

Do I uninstall the old ATK driver from programs and features then let it reboot as the first step?

For the next part, do I unzip the new download of ATK and click on setup.exe or the .MSI file?

Should I be installing this through some utility?

    I downloaded versions 1.00008, 1.00016, 1.00023 to choose from.

Thanks for the assistance! I'm excited to finally become apart of the community.

Ok you don't really need to but first uninstall the old ATK.... Next thing, unzip the new download and run the setup.exe and you should be ok... 1.00023 is the latest out of this lot but install that however if you dig on the asus support site for drivers, even newer versions of ATK are there I believe...

Thank you! I appreciate the assistance. Been in Nix land for so long that coming back to Windows is proving to be quite challenging.
