Having a few problems here I wonder if anyone can help.

Just repasted and restarted and initally it would not load windows at all:

I was getting: PFN list corrupt

I switched around the ram slots and this fixed the problem and now it starts.

However Twin turbo mode is on and everytime I disable it using the blue button top left I get a BSOD and it crash dumps and restarts.

Any ideas? This sounds like a drivers or software issue I have tried every which way around it by basic means same crash dump.

IF all you did was repaste, then software should not be the issue. IF you changed something in windows (driver updates etc) just before re-pasting then it could be software, but if not, then logic would dictate that something hardware related is going on. It does sound like a software problem, but if you didn't change anything before repasting then it ought to be hardware.

Given that, you may have a wire inside that is crushed under something that is causing a short, which in turn is causing what appears to a software issue. My best guess to disassemble again and reassemble VERY carefully making sure you don't pinch any cables. I have reassembled my G73 five times and I know from experience that it is very easy to pinch a cable or screw something up.

If you decide to rebuild you can use the photos in my repaste guide to help make sure all the wires go in the right spot.

Ive dissassembled many times and sure I didnt miss anything. I just took her to bits and put her back together no difference but then I uninstalled the CPU and then restarted and reinstalled.

Very strange as it seems fine now. Scary moments then though I have shorted summit but she is running fine now and 5oC lighter as well AS5 2nd repaste and its 46oC CPU and GPU Idle and Maxing CPU at 69oC and GPU 84oC extreme burn. Im Happy now. :D
