    You would be packing dust into every crevice from the exposed panel. I would replace the missing door with fine mesh before placing it on the fans.

    I think that'd be pretty effective if the fans blew outward and would help keep dust out (as long as they were running).

    That's a sweet looking mod though.

    What a fine mod, bravis!

    Bought a Coolermaster U3 - placed an extra 120 mm Coolermaster 2000 RPM fan (powered by an ext. 12V DC adaptor) in the middle, removed the HHD bay lid, and the temps dropped 10C!

    I like the U3 better than the expensive CF Storm - and it´s cheaper too.

    Not really, I have the fans blowing inwards, and it keeps the inside clean!

    But of course, if you live in a dump and don´t care about housecleaning, then your laptop will be filthy too...
