So I am considering upgrading my screen to FHD because I feel a bit wimpy with 1600x900 and want to cover up the fact that its a best buy model because I believe I actually have done more to make this laptop work properly than they ever did or ever will as I care not for their pathetic excuse for a warranty!!

I spit on you Best Buy!! :D

Where was I...Yes so FHD in the UK best price? Best screen? What do I need I currently have a horrible glary thing that reflects my lamp that sits right behind me I need a proper screen that I can game in daylight with.

Also the fitting ive torn this bad boy apart many times but the actual screen replacement, anything I need to worry about.

    Yours kindly. D

Check the disassembly guide here on the forums, it has the instructions on how to disassemble the screen. AS for the LCD panel itself, i've been searching for a matte 1080p screen and so far i haven't found much, but then again recently i seem to fail at searching components for my G73 as chastity demonstrated the other day :p.

EDIT: Nevermind, here's a link: http://www.screentekinc.com/hannstar-notebook-screens.shtml#17.0WXGAplus, i'm guessing that since mine has a hannstar panel, they should all be compatible with the G73.

EDIT2: With this, i might consider changing my screen to a matte one but i tend to go nuts when i think about changing computer components then go against it for cost/warranty reason like i did with the 920xm, why void my asus warranty...
