    Okay, I had to reinstall Windows 7 due to a windows start failure, so I went and downloaded the ASUS utilities in Chastity's link. The problem I want to fix is that when you press Fn + Fx, a transparent pop up will show the button pressed, whether it be the volume down, brightness down, so forth. After installing the list of programs, the display has failed to pop up. I was wondering if there's a program that enables it.

    so your FN functions aren't working correctly i'm guessing?

    you should try reinstalling drivers in safe mode
