I was wondering if there was an application which could control my CPU and GPU fans? I am looking to max them out and keep them running max constantly. Let me know if this is possible... Maybe a bios flash someone made which possibly allows this.

I do not think there is an app for direct control, If you have the A1 or A2 and are on an old BIOS then 211 or 213 will make a difference (run more) but they will not run steadily. Are you having temp issues BTW?

Yea my CPU has been running ~60-78C and I really dont want to invest in a cooling unit for the back vents. I have seen some cooling devices not pads which go on the back of a laptop for occasions like this model... But I would prefer maybe a bios patch which just max's them out

If you are less than 60 at idle, and less than 90 in games that Stress the GPU you are golden. Lower temps in both scenarios are normally achieved by repasting on CPU and more importantly GPU. Periodic cleaning out dust from within has also helped many users. Hope this helps, I am sure others that know more than I will add to this thread.

    Nope :(
It'd be nice, though. See how cool it could be when idle ... lol

On a G60 some cut the blue wire (fan) for running the fan at full speed.

Right now, there are no posted ways of making the fan move at full speed right now that I can find...

I agree, that it would be nice to have a control over this.

I wish I knew a little bit about writing code for revisions in this case.
