    Folks,

I upgrades my vBios to 93a one succesfully, however after downloading the laest drivers from ati (11.10) problems started, my CCC wont start and the were some errors reported during installation... I then tried with 11.5 and same result.

Please, anobody has any idea of why CCC wont start with 2 different drivers? I hav had no issues whatsoever with stock asus drivers.

Also, what are the newest most stable drivers for the 5870M?

Any helps i appreciated, since Im quite lost

    Maybe try using driver sweeper.
Did you update the system bios as well?
What was the specific error message?
Are you sure you downloaded the mobility version?

The latest driver is 11.11. You should do a full uninstall of all your ATI drivers using either ATI crap cleaner or driver sweeper. Then you cna try to install 11.10 or 11.11. If it still doesn't want to install, you could try to install the driver portion of CCC via the device manager.

    Thank you all for replying,

Well, yes, the main problem is that CCC wont start and Im not able to modify the settings.
I also made sure to follow the right procedure for updating the drivers, using driver sweeper and CCleaner also... the problem shouldnt be regarding that.
Also made sure of choosing the right mobility drivers.

My 73JH came with 211 bios, Im not sure if I should take the risk and go for the 213, what I did was the vBios update.

    Any more ideas? thanks again.

maybe a system restore back to an earlier date. Then do like tijo said and install the driver seperately.
if you just want the CCC features then a third party program like radeon pro can do mostly the same thing.
