Hi, I have a question regarding the G73JH. Today I connected it for the first time via an HDMI cable to my TV, and I wasn't able to get any sound at all from the TV. I tried changing the default playback device in the sound options to the Realtek Digital Output device, but that didn't work. I don't have the Creative Software installed.

Any ideas on what could be the problem?

    Thanks

    Diego

The ATI HDMI Audio playback device is the one you want. If it's not listed in playback devices then you need to install the driver.

Where can I find the driver? I tried looking here:

    ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support-

but didn't find it. Is it the Realtek Audio Driver V6.0.1.5978? Because I currently have installed the latest Realtek Drivers from the Realtek site...

Edit: Talk about a sh*tty web page...., it appears there's no direct link to the G73JH drivers and downloads page. That's what the above link was supposed to link to.

It's also included in the stock ATI video driver package, but it's much easier to get from Realtek :)
