I didn't get the software to update mouse buttons with the G73, wondernig if anyone could share how they change their button configuration.
I think I'd like, if possible, to set the the buttons on the side to zoom in and zoom out.
    Is that possible?

I take it you are referring to the included ASUS gaming mouse. I don't know if this is the software you are looking for, but it comes from ASUS. Please click here.

My G73 didn't include the backpack and mouse, so I use Microsoft's IntelliMouse Optical and it's associated software to program the buttons based on the application currently in focus.

Mine came with a HP Voodoo mouse, you can try the 76mb driver from HP's website :)

Yeah, but that's still quite large. The IntelliMouse software for my mouse, which includes the software to configure it, has a size of 15,053,712 bytes (~15MB).

Maybe Adobe Systems wrote the code, that would explain it. LOL

    Hmmm that link doesn't work.
Also, how do you know if the software is in the mouse?

The link works, because I tested the link before I made the post. I just checked the link again, and it still works. Check your browser settings.

Thanks for the help, it worked.
I was able to set one of the buttons on side of mouse as Ctrl key, then when I hold it down I'm able to use scroll wheel to zoom in and out. Win!
