Is their anyway I could purchase just the shell to one of these laptops? I have a bit of an experiment I really really really want to try, but I need a new shell.

I guess I could take off my old one, ship it to the States, play with my laptop in a pizza box like I did with an old dual core tyan build back in the late 90's...Nah, I just need a new shell :p

If you know of a way I can obtain a new shell, you'd be my new best friend. I've checked ebay, no luck :(

Nice! Thanks a ton! I had no idea it was going to be so expensive but hey, what should I have expected right lol?

I guess I'll order the top and bottom, then I have to pay for the work done to them D:

I will, it's not anything that hasn't been done before. However, you have to have the right equipment to do it :D

Something like that, give me time I'll get some pictures posted up. Remember, I have to get it shipped to the states, and then have the work done.

Luckly, my cousin has a super high res camera so I'll be able to have him post some really great photos of the work :D

Then He will have to ship it to me, here, in Iraq :(

Apparently because of the shells rubbery consistancy it's going to be hard to etch/color this thing. I'll keep you guys updated :/
