Can someone please tell me what the latest video driver I can use on my G73JH is? When I try to install 13.1 my computer literally shut's itself off. I have reverted back to the stock driver and everything is working fine. I am pretty sure I have the most up to date vbios since previous driver updates have worked.

I have the latest beta installed. AMD Catalyst
Please note that you should uninstall the previous version, reboot, cancel a possible driver installation and then start the installation of those. Download them before you uninstall the current ;)
They work absolutely fine on my G73JH. Some users complained that you cannot change the brightness on the 13.8 betas, I don't know if this still exists on the 13.10. In any case, I never change it.

thanks for the fast reply, I have uninstalled the current drivers and tried to install the 13.10 drivers you directed me too several times and it crashes every single time, any special way I should uninstall or install the new drivers?

Normally it enough to uninstall them in the add/remove programs window.
When it crashes, what exactly happens? Does it turn off and on again? Or does just the screen turns off while the rest remains running?

Thank you for that link I will follow those steps, but first I need to find the 12.10 drivers do you have a link?

@pato, it literally completely powers off and doesn't turn back on, sometimes I have to wait a couple minutes before it will let me power it up again.

That you have to wait some minutes to turn it on again is a very! weird issue. This sounds much more like a hardware issue than a software one. Are both fans still working fine?
Do you have overclocked the machine?
In any case, having to wait to power it on again sounds really bad.
