    Hello,

I just updated the latest realtek driver "Vista_Win7_R254.exe"

Whenever i mute the sound on my laptop theres still sound coming from subwoofers. Even when I plug into headphones.

How do I mute the subwoofer or get it to stop sound when i mute the cpu sound?

Wow, that's weird. You can check the Playback devices in Windows, and you should have only 3:

    Realtek HDMI Output
    Speakers (Default)
    Realtek Digital Output

Sometimes the drivers setup the subwoofer as a separate speaker. You can uninstall it if it did; the audio should get filtered to it through the crossover circuit.

Uninstall the subwoofer device. If need be, uninstall the Realtek drivers, run Driver Cleaner for a Realtek sweep, and then reinstall with the new 2.55's that just came out.
