Lately my USB ports are dying at an increasing rate. Usually if i leave too many USB devices plugged in it will eventually shut down all the USB ports and i'll have to do a force reboot, but lately it's been doing it with just my mouse + usb headset plugged in and it's happening every few hours.

The USB ports will simply die, none of them will work at all until i reboot then it works fine till it happens again.

Does anyone know of a fix for this? It is extremely annoying and inconvenient.

I never use it on battery so i wouldn't know, and i'm not using a logitech mouse. I've also checked the logs on occasion after having to reboot and haven't found any errors.

Can you temporarily turn off 'USB Selective Suspend' setting in power plan's advanced settings?
