I think the warranty for my G73JH was 2 years and 1 year accidental damage. Is there a website where I can confirm this, and the start date? I did send the warranty card in when I purchased.

Secondly, If I was to sell the laptop does the warranty transfer to the new owner?

    Cheers and thanks.

Depends on where you bought it from. If it was a g73jh-a1 or a2 it will have 24 months global. If it is from BestBuy it only has a one year warranty as I understand. Start date would be from purchase date, so look on the invoice.

If you left the info sticker on to the right of the touchpad it should state the warranty details. Under CPU and VGA mine has 24 months clearly stated. Also on the base of the laptop, with the serial number, it has the warranty period.

You could go to the ASUS website page linked below and enter your serial number, which might give you exact warranty details.

ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Warranty Policy G73Jh

Otherwise if you ring the local ASUS service center they should be able to look up the warranty details I reckon.

As long as proof of purchase is provided to the new owner the warranty should be transferable to them. Without proof of purchase might not be honored, would depend on rules in country you are claiming and a bit of luck I reckon!

You have the 2 Yr Global + 1 Yr ADW + ZBD :) Start date is your date of purchase.

You also never registered your unit. :(

Can you email me your invoice?
