    Hey guys,
Sorry if this sort of problem has been posted before but for some reason, the search function isn't working properly for me today and I can't browse half the pages on the forum. Basically, my webcam just won't show up when video chatting using MSN or Skype. It shows up fine when I set up the video options and do the audio/video tests but it never works during the chats. It works on a software called Oovoo (similar to Skype) but not many people use that and it's becoming a chore. Could someone please help me out ? Thanks in advance.

That is definately odd.... have you tried uninstalling the drivers the re-installing them? Also, did you tell Skype and MSN where to look at for a webcam? Might need to update Skype and MSN if there older versions. But I would try first uninstalling and re-installing the drivers and go from there.

Could you give me a link to find the drivers? I don't know which one's the right one and I can't find it on the ASUS Cd.

It's not a Best Buy model. I bought it from Xotic PC. I found a driver posted somewhere else on the forums called "Camera_Chicony_7246_615200270". It's installed but I've yet to try the webcam on MSN or skype. I'll update this thread as soon as I get to it.

Thanks for all the help guys. Reinstalled the driver and installed MSN 2011 and everything's smooth. Skype still has problems (webcam works for around 2 minutes and shuts off) but I'll save that one for later.
