I haven't been able to play the game called MineCraft ( Minecraft) as it uses a graphics library that attempts to use either ATI or nVidia based drivers. However, if I recall ASUS created wrappers for that are used instead and don't allow this graphic library to initiate a 3D scene.

Atleast thats my interpretation of the issue, I have been in and out of the forum and technical help all over. I just have a feeling I am going to be forced to flash my bios to use ATI drivers instead of the ASUS listed driver. As I have tried to use 1st party drivers before and I always have issues later causing me to revert to the manufactures default.

Anyone else able to play this game? Or able to update the ATI drivers without doing anything like flashing the bios?

Just dont have a flash drive on hand... =P

Does using the GSOD vBios flash allow me to update my drivers from the ATI website then? I am just somewhat confused on this matter...

You might be able to use ATI drivers without a problem, you should try it.

You can update the driver without updating the display adapter firmware (vBIOS). A percentage of owners, however, experience the GSOD problem without the vBIOS update when using newer AMD drivers. Try it! You can always revert the driver and/or update the firmware.

The vBIOS update allows you to use AMD Catalysts past 10.1, so it's a good thing. :)

And get a USB Flash Drive already! They're cheap and like candy. I have 6 of them sitting on my desktop. (It was 7, but I ran one over it with my chair.)

lol You could get one for free with a tiny bit of leg work. Go to a local university campus. There's always someone in the main university building giving away flash drives for some promotion.
