    G73JH battery woe

    I've had this for two years, when I deduced that the battery had croaked. One day it wouldn't turn on, I had to do a remove-the-battery-reset to turn it on, and it worked fine... until I put the battery back in, get the blue screen PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA. In short: works perfectly with no battery in it, s up with the battery in it.

    So I ordered a new battery. Put it in a couple of days ago.

    I wake up this morning, and the battery light is flashing orange.

    Now, before anyone suggests the obvious about draining and calibrating and all that hooey, that's what I did yesterday; took it on a car ride and watched X-Files until the battery died.

    So why the blinky?
