Try listing it in the members market if you have privileges.

    Member's market? you mean Marketplace?

NVM, i've just figured out that the EZP2010 i'm using is reading different values every time, It looks like the programmer might be faulty, i'll try on another PC.

Ok, i'm looking for a new programmer has any1 used "Blackcat USB Universal Memory Programmer"?
It seems pretty decent, has everything i need and is cheaper than the EZP2010, i just don't want to get a counterfeit non-working again xD.

You know that with full bios flash you get missmatch for LAN mac addressand thus lose option to connect laptop to internet via LAN. And windows serial number also is contained in bios. Everyone after first one will get windows license not valid.

That's true for windows 8 machines, earlier ones were not saved in the bios.

    1. Although missing a valid MAC won't have any damaging effect on your own LAN, but the EPROM needs to be reprogrammed with LAN manufacturer MAC utility if you do wish to restore MAC address.
    2. BIOS has a region that holds the product key, you will also need the factory utility to add the product key back. But if you lost the key already then you can' t retrieve it unless you had previously made a backup.

Nope, everything works perfectly, after the BIOS is installed the laptop starts with black screen for about 7 seconds and sets up everything, reboots and it's ready to be used :).

The OEM activation is also included in the BIOS, and your windows will remain activated.
However, if you have replaced windows, hard drive, or just deleted the recovery partition PM me for Win 7 OEM activation.

You should be able to use the OEM key on the machine to activate since it's still the same machine.

For what? Flashing entire BIOS chip?

    I've used BlackCat USB :)

This BIOS image can't be flashed with any regular flash utility, it requires SPI flash capable programmer.

A handy tool to have around if you play a lot though :)

I'm tempted but tend to be more of a vbios modder and there are other ways around that.

You could attach your vbios to a post maxslo. That's an easy way of sharing it.

    Hi there,

I have a second G73JH with bricked BIOS here. The owner tried to flash and failed.
After turning on the blue LEDs are on and after some time the fans begin to start.

Am I right, the only option is to desolder the BIOS chip and reprogram through a SPI flasher?
Is there any info about the steps to do?

    Thanks

The steps would depend on the programmer you have and for a complete brick then yes that is the only option.
