At my wits end here, tried disabling driver enforcement, tried f8, tried run as admin, tried different drivers, ran driver sweeper each time it failed. How do I pass this hurdle?

Where are you downloading this file from?

Are you using the latest .93 VBIOS for the JH?

Pretty sure I got that CCC from the ROG forums but I could be mistaken. Just did a fresh install with the stock driver cd ati drivers and it seems fine, how should I go about properly updating this? (Nvidia user here, first time with a ati card)

    My laptop is the G73jh-rbbx05

If it is a new laptop have you gone down the route of updating your Bios and Vbios yet?

Even so uninstall all ATI software + CCC and then use Drive Sweeper to clean all of your ATI files and then restart. It should then revert back to a Standard VGA Adaptor and then run the installation again for 11.12.

Try using the official version from the ATI website you never know the version you have may not be mobility.

It's a laptop I picked up from ebay *was a gamble but a $599 gamble from reputable seller*

Already updated vbios and bios. Will uninstall/drive clean the ati and ccc and give this a try then. Thanks Yiddo
