    Using setfsb 2

    bought the id code etc

when i change the hex value that should be 01 in the tutorial, it is actually already at 21... should i still change this to 41?

also, after i update (numbers change) the hi apply (numbers all go back to normal) is this what should happen?

    thanks

move over to the diagnosis tab then on the clock generator pull down pick g73jh from the list, click get fsb then just move the slider to around 154ish. Have mine at 156 which puts me around 3.03ghz :D

You have to overclock it more to see a performance increase, becouse when you overclock, turbo boost wont kick in as usual, and you actually have to overclock four cores higher than turbo boost would to see an increase in performance. I can manage that on mine (can get 4 cores on i7-820qm to 2,3ghz instead of turbo boosts 2ghz).

Yes, you need to donate. It's only about 10 bucks and there's a lot of work involved creating such a tool...

Donate or you have to be happy with your standard clocks.
