    G73JH: Date keeps resetting.

    The date keeps resetting randomly to 7/27/2010, does anyone know why?

    It does, but its difficult to get to, I know because I tried lol

    Take off the access panel and when looking at the laptop flipped over with the vents at the top, its in the far top left, but you can only just see it, not take it out, youd have dismantle almost the entire laptop for that...have you tried just resetting the CMOS with the pinhole button? However im not sure that would do the trick

    Sucks to RMA it for that but i prob would faced with tearing the notebook apart.
    I would try a clean install before i sent it off and see if it was still happening.

    I have the same issue since the repaste, unable to solve it yet :)

    btw where is this pinhole button? Is it the one under the notebook, near the sd card slot?
