my cpu fan goes like crazy from 100 RPM to 2000 RPM and it does that often when just surfing on the internet . have anyone noticed that?
in really quiet envirement you can hear it going from 100 to 2000 or above
i have the leatest bios 211
    monitored with everest

    is this normal or not?
i saw some ASUS N71JQ users having the same problem
can anyone do this for me
just monitor the cpu while surfing on net and post results

never had that problem. Did you monitor temps to see that is working properly?

ok let me be more correct not cycling like crazy but very often when in cold envirenement or something like that .
My normal cpu temperature is around 45 C which i think is normal
so my thinking is that below that for example when it goes to 43 C my CPU fan goes to 100 RPM and then when it warms a little up for example 47 C it goes around 2000 RPM
hmm i think it's designed like that
try to monitor it and you will see that it goes to 100RPM
the only way it won't go it's becouse your CPU temperature is warmer then mine

p.s i will mention again the place where i have been was very cold room temperature
in warmer rooms i can see rarely dropping to 100 RPM
and when it cycles from 100 to 2000 you can hear the fan making a small noise

    lets experiment

ANYWAY THAT'S MY OPPINION IT DOESN'T NEED TO BE CORRECT
