    G73JH-A1 Windows 8 drivers

    Hello guys,

    I am planning to install windows 8. I got G73JH-A1

    Are there any drivers for windows 8 for this model? or windows 7 drivers will do??

    Installed windows 8 on my N50. Got the nvidia drivers for windows 8, aside from that, stock windows drivers for the most part and a few win7 x64 drivers that work just fine. In the end, what i'd do is install windows 8 and then hung for any missing drivers. Note that you can either install it in dual boot on a separate drive or partition, set windows 7 to default and when you trash windows 8 you won't have to do a thing, windows 7 will work as before.

    What i personally did was grab a spare 64GB SSD i had lying around and install windows 8 on that. Once i want to revert back to 7, i'll just pop the HDD back inside the notebook.

    I did notice drastically reduced wireless performance with my Intel 6200 with the stock windows drivers though. Something i noticed yesterday when testing a new router.
