I'm guessing this is a CPU-Z fault and not a cause for concern with wrong hardware shipped with my Batman laptop? Or is something throttling my ram speed?

Double checked the components and they are indeed PC3-10700 rated to run at 1066Mhz, although HWiNFO32 and CPU-Z report them to be running at 667. Spot of googling later and is there a BIOS setting I'm supposed to enable?

DDR = Double Data Rate. Which means your 667/666 clocks is actually effectively running at 1333.

This is good, and so far seems to be standard now. Specs do state 1066 ram, but so far every x3 has came with 1333mhz ram. So your good to go!

Ooohhh! Thanks for the explanation. Eased my fears of defective/wrong components.

    Cheers and repped. :D

Technically it wouldn't even boot if it was under 800Mhz.

The maximum size for images is 500x500 and anything larger should be thumbnailed or linked. See forum policy for more information.
