    I need a complete 4-MB-size BIOS file for my laptop asus G73JW. If anyone is into BIOS chips, please back it up and send it to me or create it.

    I would contact asus or download their latest bios on their website. The whole 4MB chip may not be filled remember.

    is the bios chip even removable or does it have to be desoldered?

    It would need to be desoldered unless there are programming pads near.
