    What I have got:

    ASUS G73JW-91094V

    CPU: Intel i7 740QM @ 1.73GHz
    Memory: 4.0 GB Ram PC3-10600S
    Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTX 460M

I can't confirm or deny what I can/cannot upgrade. Mainly looking at upping the processor, but any info would be appreciated.

CPU, HDDs, RAM, screen can all be upgrade, the GPU can't. Upgrading the CPU will void your warranty though.

The best upgrade for price vs power vs output is going to be the 920xm.

The 940xm is the best model you can get but because of the high wattage and heat generated you may not see much difference between them when using throttlestop because it will throttle once it starts to push T-junction and the 940xm is around $100-$150 more.

The other models 820/840qm are locked the same as 720/740qm and are not worth forking out for, go for an extreme model and you will see the performance difference.

The GPU has not yet been confirmed as changable and testing is still waiting/being done by people on the forum. HDD and RAM are straight forward upgrades.

Replacing the CPU yourself if within warranty will void it.

Warranty will not be voided if the cpu is installed by an authorized tech. Save your receipt. :)
